![]() 81-10617 E 1.2 : L 55/979 International Symposium on Lepton and Photon. Its now.īTW, this is my first post on this forum, so please be nice! :) Thanks. OCLC 07592846 -10611 E 1.2 : B 74 anford Engineering Development Laboratory. It will need to be done quickly, since February is only about two months away. So if someone here knows where I can find this information, I would be most grateful. This demo is for a group of people who regularly do search and rescue. We are budget constrained, but if it goes over well, I think the money will come later. The whole purpose of this demo is not to show the best thermal images, but just to do a proof of concept, and we are doing it indoors at short ranges. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find this information, but I am sure someone has already done it. Obviously there will be some code needed and instructions on how to put it all together. All I have available is a FLIR One camera, a drone, a gimbal, a Raspberry Pi, and a wireless 5.8GHz transmitter and receiver. This revolutionary camera core is poised to equip a new generation of mobile and handheld devices, as well as small fixed-mount camera systems, with thermal imaging capabilities never seen before.Lepton contains a breakthrough lens fabricated in wafer form, along with a microbolometer focal plane array (FPA) and advanced thermal image processing. **If you are a forward-thinking producer or distributor of innovative products looking to nurture and leverage GroupGets' talented community of open-source developers and micro-buyers, contact us.In February 2019 I want to demo how thermal imaging can be done for search and rescue. We also have a campaign for a FLIR-designed OEM-style demo camera for Lepton here. ![]() If we don't hit 100 orders by the expiration date, then we will extend it. Sometimes we can close sooner if we can combine this batch with private orders. Note, as soon as we hit 100 units ordered we can close the round. Please help make this campaign a success and be part of a new DIY movement inspired by independent development and the desire to get cutting edge components without spending a fortune. We at GroupGets seeded this campaign (now in its 5th public batch) ourselves to give users a good idea of what is possible with the platform, and we hope that users will respond with their own great examples. Please help get the word out about this campaign and this platform. We are releasing Leptons in batches so that earlier adopters can get started quickly on their projects without having to wait for the 1000th backer. If you prefer to utilize a different shipping service and are willing to pay extra for it, please let us know and we can accommodate that. Shipping to anywhere else in the world will result in a total fee of $256 for the Lepton and insured and tracked shipping via USPS. We will also try to help, and all Leptons will be under FLIR's standard warranty for all buyers (big and small).įor this batch, shipping is FREE to US addresses. This is basically the internals of a tiny digital camera that can take thermal photos onto a microSD card and view a live feed of the camera on the LCD screen. Please note that FLIR will not provide technical support for orders placed here so be sure to use the google group (!forum/flir-lepton) github repo (), the Pure Engineering portal, and the campaign discussion tab to connect with other developers for support. If you want to just buy breakout boards, contact us. Pure Engineering also created a homepage and github repo for data sheets and sample code for the Lepton dev board here. ![]() It is available here now for the first time as an optional add-on (see below) that you can select during checkout. We collaborated with Pure Engineering to make a small development board (*shown in photo but not included*) to help you quickly start developing your applications on a Pi, Arduino, or whatever. Thanks to every backer! We'd love to hear about what you are up to with Lepton for our blog so hit us up if you have something cool that you'd like to share. We have shipped over 400 Leptons now worldwide. Contact us if you want a different configuration but note that you will likely need to order a large amount for modified units and pay more per unit cost. The standard Lepton for this GroupGets is shutterless with a 51deg HFOV lens. It has a resolution of 80 × 60 pixels in a package smaller than a dime. The FLIR Lepton™ is the most compact LWIR camera core exclusively available here in small quantities for prototypers, makers, and hobbyists. This group buy is the cheapest way to get the FLIR Lepton in small quantities!
